A killer nymph for me has been the Miracle Nymph. It is a midge larva pattern. Fish it behind a heavier fly and it is very effective as a trailer. I really like it in sizes 20 to 24. See the video up top on how to tie one. I’ve found that both segmentation
The Westfield and Swift Rivers: A Fat 18" Rainbow
I fished the Westfield and Swift on Saturday. I was hoping to do one last trip to the Chesterfield Gorge before the water temperature became too low, and yesterday was the day. I didn’t see any cars parked as I trundled down River Road, making my way down the dirt trail and negotiating the rocks.
