Davy Wotton is a fish hawk (prior posts here and here). A member of the Fly Fishing Hall of Fame and previously on the Wales national team, he knows his stuff. I attribute much of what I know about wet-fly fishing to him and a detailed chapter about him in Dave Hughes’ Wet Flies book.
Two Bits of News
I wanted to mention two things. First, Orvis has put out a Euronymphing video that features George Daniel. When I took my clinic with George at UpCountry, he mentioned that he thereafter was going to meet up with Tom Rosenbauer and the Orvis film crew. So, I’ve been awaiting this video for a long while.
Fishing During a Pandemic
We are in uncharted waters. Recently, Covid-19 has swept the nation and brought the world to its knees. The entire country is on lock down and all non-essential businesses are closed. With no clear end in sight, there have been very few silver linings lately except for fishing. Fishing has given many of us, myself
