Flows Back Up at the Millers River
With water levels back up from the recent rain, I fished the Millers for about four hours. Particular runs were again in “full bloom,” and there were many bugs everywhere. The water was a refreshing 62 °F. With the water up again, I didn’t have to be so stealthy in approaching the fish. Went 11-for-14.
A couple hours on the Quinapoxet

It was a weird morning at the Millers. With the river low, the fish weren’t in their usual spots. I guess they’re roving. So, I explored a bit. Also, maybe because they’re more seasoned or somewhat wary because of the low water level, but I found them very picky regarding flies and how they wanted
