I love fishing in Montana. I’ve done it twice and hope to return one day. Beautiful mountains, wild trout, friendly people. And, here’s a video of summer dry fly fishing out there. There are some amazing takes. Breathtaking stuff.

How about a trip, for nine weeks, in New Zealand? Just you, a back pack, and fly fishing gear. You run into some fellow fly fishermen. And, NZ trout. Many of them. The above video is really cool. Mesmerizing. Worth watching in its entirety, IMO. Trust me.

Alright, I’m finally in CA! Beautiful weather in the 70’s all week (sorry New Englanders!), and great scenery. I’ve even got a chance to look around bit as far as local fly shops go, and started getting some good tips on where I should start “slinging bugs”. I’m not really familiar with the trout water
