I saw this post below in my Twitter feed. I’m hopeful that the snow pack is thick and will melt slowly, to give aquifers the time to replenish. Glad that there’s more rain coming.

On another note, I made it out to the water last week during a break in the weather. Hit a Connecticut freestone and managed to time my arrival just as the water temp. rose to the magical 40 °F level. Managed to land two trout, but, otherwise, is was pretty slow. One fish surprisingly was good-sized and fought hard.

Anyone else making it out on the water?
