A serendipitous morning. Awoke early and decided to tie some some Sexy Walt’s in black with some green thread for a hot spot collar. Why not?

So, wanted to test-drive them and went to a local river. With water still pretty cool and flows up, it felt like a good time.  I had to be back quickly for some family obligations.

Had a crazy few hours. Landed seven browns and a huge number of fallfish. One trout, the one in the first photo below, looked wild to me. Perfect fans, and it fought like a madman. I loved its red spots.
