How do you choose a fly reel?

Below (or, click here) is a video from Kelly Galloup. I think it is great. I’ve long believed that my fly-fishing investment dollars should go into good waders most of all, and, after that, fly rods. I didn’t know how much emphasis to put on fly reels.

Kelly’s advice is that nearly all fly reels are the same. It’s all about style and looks.
