Life Lessons from Labrador
It was the fall of 2017, and I was in northern Labrador, waist deep in the McKenzie River. My sloping shoulders portrayed the characteristic posture of a frustrated angler tying on another fly. Make your own lure? 40″+ pike? Some funny lines? This is a very entertaining video with an interesting angler (that hair!). It doesn’t involve fly fishing, but props to “Uncut Angling” for another interesting and creative project. And, those pike are crazy big.

Winter fly fishing? For walleye? For carp? Winnipeg? Yes, you may be stunned to hear about this, as I was when I stumbled upon the above video. It’s pretty cool. I love the energy and the fact that these guys clearly know what they’re doing. Also, the video below doesn’t involve fly fishing, but sight
