I last night called over to Concord Outfitters with some questions and had a great chat with Dylan. I really like that fly shop. It’s staffed with people who are absolutely passionate about fly fishing.
It reminded me of how grateful I am to Andy and his crew. When I was just starting to fly fish regularly three years ago, the guys pretty much took me by the hand and were incredibly helpful. It’s where I learned about many of our local waters and what tactics I should consider.
So, I want to get the word out regarding something I just learned. The shop will be hosting a Holiday Party, featuring Island Creek Oysters. It will be great way to pick holiday gifts. Here are the details:
Mark your calendars! Join us at the shop on Thursday December 8th from 4 pm – 8 pm for what will be our 17th annual customer appreciation party! Our old shop manager Bill will be shucking oysters so don’t miss out on the hottest party in town. No worries! You fishing much these days? I'm still hauling it out to the Farmington. What a great river. So long and so dynamic. Conditions there can change by the hour, given different bug activity.
Hi there! I've not been out much this fall. Hit the Stillwater 1x. Havent been on small water, and around the first week or so of Oct I eased off my pond fishing for warm water… Archery deer season started so I was spending free time chances in a tree stand.
