It is with a heavy heart that I write this.
Blog colleague and all-around great guy, Christian Denninger, has passed away. I remember him as such a thoughtful person: He wanted people to fish with a conscience.
Christian’s body was found in the woods near a stream that he used to fish. I don’t have any other details than this article.
Christian’s last Instagram post is below. I truly hope he is at peace.
If anyone knows his family and their address, please let me know. I’d like to send something.
Rest in peace, Christian. This is for you.
Tragic. My heart goes out to all who would grieve the loss of his young life.
Yes, yes, yes.
Thank you, from a devastated uncle
Rest in peace Chris, and may God provide some comfort to your family.
Amen.
I can’t imagine what his family and loved ones are going through right now. Rest in peace Christian.
No words for them, right? I wouldn’t know what to say to them other than ask how I can help.
Wow – prayers and positive energy go to Christian’s family! What a challenge…
The passing of Chris is beyond sad. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.
Man that’s just sad. I feel for the ones he left behind. May he rest in peace.
Yes. FYI, I got the family’s mailing address. I will be sending a condolence card on behalf of all of us at the blog….
Thank you for your beautiful tribute to Christian. He was a truly unique and special person. We already miss him more than words can say.
Really sad to hear about the passing of Christian. My thoughts are with his family. Tight lines in the sky, bud.
